VMS Live are delighted to announce the arrival of 2 new faces to their Promotions Team

VMS Live are delighted to announce the arrival of 2 new faces to their Promotions Team. First off, Abbie Marshall a long time associate of Steve Forster will be joining the team focusing on the Rock and Alt Country section of the market. Steve and Abbie have worked together as far back as 2007 when Abbie was part of the Mean Fiddler Promotions team and together they developed the award winning ‘High Voltage’ festival. Abbie has a long and successful track record of promoting and developing events. Including for the last 4 years the ‘Ramblin Man’ Festival in Kent. Alongside the arrival of Abbie VMS are delighted to announce that Steve Forster will be taking on the role as ‘Festival Director’ for Ramblin Man for 2018. Commenting on her arrival Abbie stated, ‘I am delighted to be working with Steve, Carl, Richard and the VMS team. One of the frustrations for me in recent years is that as an independent, focussing the majority of my time and efforts on Ramblin Man, I have not been able to retain and develop the Artists contacts that I have made. Working with VMS will allow me to promote artists into the VMS network of venues which will benefit both Ramblin Man, VMS and their partner venues. I cant wait to get started.

Alongside the arrival of Abbie, VMS are pleased to announce that Paul Ingleby will be joining the VMS Promoters Team. Paul has a long and successful track record of promoting events in Norwich (UEA/Waterfront). Commenting on Paul’s arrival.. VMS Commercial Director Carl Bathgate commented. Having worked alongside Paul for the last few years as part of the VMS/UEA venue partnership, I have been impressed with both Paul’s knowledge, application and dedication to his job. When he applied for the role of ‘Promoter’ it was a simple choice for us to appoint him. Paul further commented, that I have thoroughly enjoyed my 15 year plus career at UEA and it has given me an excellent opportunity to hone my skills. I felt the time was right to further develop them across a range of venues and events. I will still be working closely with UEA due to the ongoing VMS partnership arrangement, but I am equally excited to get the opportunity to work across a broader range of events and venues.

Steve Forster further commented that, we (VMS) have been undergoing a process of change and development as all businesses do in recent months. People will have recently seen the announcement of VMS Tickets and in the coming weeks we hope to be able to make further comment in relation to a number of number new venues that we will be working with as well as some businesses that we are acquiring in our own right. This is a really exciting time for VMS as we shape our business going forward. Watch this space as they say …
