VMS Live are currently recruiting for a Promoters Assistant. The successful candidate will work along side our in-house booking team supporting them in the delivery of over 400 events per year. The nature of these events will range from intimate shows in small venues to large scale outdoor events. This is an entry level position and an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for live music seeking to develop a career in the entertainments industry. Key responsibilities will include supporting the marketing of our events through social and print media, various administrative duties, and assisting our promoters with all aspects of events delivery and promotion. Suitable candidates will have excellent communication and computing skills with a particular focus on social media trends, be enthusiastic, hardworking and diligent Attention to detail and the ability to work as an individual and as part of a team are essential requirement of this role. This position will be based out of our Liverpool office however the successful candidate will be expected to work on projects throughout the VMS venues estate and client base. Position Filled
VMS Live are looking for an experienced Venues and Live Music professional to oversee their Northern venues management operation including Manchester Academy, Wrexham (William Aston Hall) among others. The position available is ‘Venues Operations Manager’ and the successful candidate work alongside the partner venues management team to deliver the events and venus operations. The position will be based in Manchester, although the successful candidate will be expected to work on projects throughout the VMS venues estate and client base. Suitable candidates will have had experience of working at General Manager Level or similar in established Live Music venues. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of both the live music and club sector as well as sound operational knowledge (a qualification to at least IOSH safety certificate level would be preferred). A competitive salary is on offer along with a performance related bonus.
